I have to give a huge thank you to my models Amari Fable and Naomi Frohloff. It was a delight to see these on not just awkward dress for and in movement. I can’t wait for them to go to their next home. Though it will be a bit bitter sweet parting with them, I’m a little attached. gosh I’m ridiculous hahaha. Let me tell you a little bit about these. I really wanted to go the extra mile so all the chiffon and lace was hand dyed, and the rhinestones individually placed. I think there is something like 2000 stones between the two of them. It took me two full days and you better believe I powered through some anime while doing all that work. It was a nice break from the hum of the sewing machine. I had a lot of fun also adding the cording, all the little beaded pieces and the trims. I felt like every little bit brought these closer and closer to what I dreamed they would be. I feel so proud. Finishing these and editing the images brought me right to tears. This show, these characters, making this all just meant so much to me and I am so darn grateful to have been able to make this.
